Music to Four Speakers
Rostam Batmanglij

NOON Projects is excited to present a special musical installation by Rostam Batmanglij on February 4 from 1–4pm.

Rostam will be debuting a new instrumental piece entitled Music to Four Speakers. This will be a quadraphonic experience, and it will take advantage of four individual speakers placed in each corner of the gallery— as visitors walk throughout the space they will experience the composition both evolving and enveloping them.

Rostam's performance is in support of James Cherry's exhibition Fraternal on view through February 11th.

Rostam Batmanglij is a Grammy-winning producer, composer, and songwriter. He is the producer of nine full-length albums. His parents left Iran after the revolution in 1979. Batmanglij was born in Washington, DC in 1983. He studied music at Columbia University, where he co-founded Vampire Weekend in 2006.
